Gator Basketball vs FAMU

On Tuesday, Dec. 1, both Gator basketball teams battled Florida A&M University at the O'Connell Center.
The women's team unfortunately lost to the FAMU Lady Rattlers by just one point, 72-71, even with strong playing in the last quarter.

The men's team fared better. Dan Werner (21) scored 16 points for a season high to help keep the Gators undefeated. No. 13 Gators beat Florida A&M 80-59. The Gators went into the half ahead 37-33. Alex Tyus added 15 points, Vernom Macklin had 14, and Erving Walker had 10.
