Women's Basketball: Gators win against Auburn


UF came up with a big win in double-overtime against the defending SEC Champion Auburn, Thursday night in the Stephen C. O'Connell Center. It was the Gators first conference home game of the season. The Gators went into the locker room with a 33-15 advantage. Florida struggled during the 2nd half and at the end of regulation play Auburn hit a 3 pointer bringing the score to 52-52. The Gators trailed during the first overtime until Azania Stewart hit a pair of free throws to tie the score at 58-58. The Gators rallied in the second overtime with Steffi Sorensen hitting three consecutive 3-pointers in the first 2:53 of the second overtime to help lift the Gators past Auburn, 71-68 to win Against Auburn.
