Andy Samberg. Need we say more?

Before Andy Samberg had JT putting his D*** In A Box and had T-Pain On A Boat, he was a college student just like you and me. Tonight he goes back to his collegiate roots to teach us how to go from graduates to Emmy-winning, satire-producing, internet sensation comedians. Andy Samberg, one half of the funniest boy group around, The Lonely Island, has also showed off his chops as an actor in "I Love You Man" and "Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs." Not to mention his steady spot on Saturday Night Live.
Tonight (3/23), ACCENT brings Andy Samberg to the O'Connell Center at 8pm. Doors are at 7pm, but we recommend you get there early to even have a chance to get into this free event.

Women's Basketball: Gators win against Auburn

UF came up with a big win in double-overtime against the defending SEC Champion Auburn, Thursday night in the Stephen C. O'Connell Center. It was the Gators first conference home game of the season. The Gators went into the locker room with a 33-15 advantage. Florida struggled during the 2nd half and at the end of regulation play Auburn hit a 3 pointer bringing the score to 52-52. The Gators trailed during the first overtime until Azania Stewart hit a pair of free throws to tie the score at 58-58. The Gators rallied in the second overtime with Steffi Sorensen hitting three consecutive 3-pointers in the first 2:53 of the second overtime to help lift the Gators past Auburn, 71-68 to win Against Auburn.

Gator Men's Basketball vs. American University

The Gators won 76-60 against American University last night, breaking their three-game losing streak. The Gators, with a season record of 9-3, had a 21 point lead going into halftime, but American closed within nine points during the last minutes. The Gators responded with seven points in the last 39 seconds. Alex Tyus with a season high of 20 points, said "It's definitely good to get the win". Kenny Boynton added 19, and Vernon Macklin had a career high of 18. The next home game is tomorrow, Wed. Dec.30 at 7pm.
