Debutaunts started out in Gainesville four years ago, as five guys just wanting to play some rock music. Today the band, a solid four-piece has taken its craft to a new level, leaving aside the days of jamming for a career as an established indie-rock band. Last summer the band made the move to Atlanta to fire-start its career and the foursome show no signs of stopping anytime soon. Now with a new album, Why Can’t We Have Fun?, and a music video in the works, we talk to frontman Jazek Creacy about the band’s transition, his musical inspirations and why he chose music over love.
