Campus Bowl-A-Thon

UF Students for Big Brothers Big Sisters started off its new post on campus Monday, March 1, with a life-sized, inflatable bowl-a-thon. From 10am-1pm students were invited to knock down three-foot pins for a chance to win prizes and learn more about the organization. The event, which will also run today and Wednesday, March 3, is being held to promote awareness for UF Gator Bowl for Kids' Sake.

Gator Bowl will be held March 19 from 9:30am to 2pm at Alley Katz Corner, 3705 SW 42nd St. During the campus bowl-a-thon students can sign up for the bowling tournament, which will directly benefit the Big Brother Big Sisters cause. Taking our tech-savvy generation into consideration, the organization has set up so that bowlers and pledges can sign up online

Stop by Plaza of the Americas today and tomorrow from 10am to 1pm to learn more about Gator Bowl, which will include entertainment by reggae band 3rd Stone and DJ Sketch, prizes and of course free bowling!
