Gators win their first game in the American Lacrosse Conference.
Florida Lacrosse team hosted No. 14 Penn State on Saturday in their first home conference game of the season at Donald R. Dizney Stadium. At the half, the Gators went into the locker room tied at six all. During the first 28 minutes of the second half, the Gators defense slowed Penn State’s scoring, and opened up a five-goal lead. Penn State attacked with a scoring run, but the Gators tightened up their defense to hold on for a 13-11 victory, receiving their first American Lacrosse Conference win of the season.
