RISK season begins tonight!

The RISK season begins tonight (2/9) at 7pm at the Harn, with a lecture by director Amie Siegel, followed by the screening of her film DDR/DDR, a film tracing the perils of East Germany under the rule of the socialist state and during reunification.

The Harn is located on SW 34th Street and Hull Road. Admission is $4 for the general public, $3 for students and free for museum members.

The season continues this month on Feb. 21 with director Helga Fanderl's screening of her 8mm short films, and on Feb. 23 with the film
Double Take by director Johan Grimonprez. We talk to RISK director Roger Beebe about the upcoming season and why you should watch RISK movies instead of Avatar.
