Speed Up: Gatornationals!

Feed your need for speed (and loud noise and huge crowds) at the 41st annual National Hot Rod Association’s Tire Kingdom Gatornationals, March 11 through 14, at the Gainesville Raceway. It’s the largest drag racing event at the Raceway, one of the fastest tracks on the NHRA circuit, and the first on the East coast in the 20-city racing tour.

“Most professional drivers don’t consider their resume complete unless they win the Gatornationals,” says Don Robertson, executive general manager of Gainesville Raceway. “It’s highly sought after.”

Adult admission starts at $16 and a four-day pass is $140. Tickets can be bought in advance at NHRA.com or by calling 1-800-884-NHRA.
